General Guidelines & Tips

RESOLUTION:
|
|
| |
All file formats must have a minimum of 300 dpi (dot per inch) resolution or there will be a substantial drop in the image quality.
|
|
| |
COLOR MODE: |
|
| |
All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color mode. All black & white artworks and/or images must be provided in grayscale color mode. |
|
| |
BLEED: |
|
| |
We require ALL files to be built to the full bleed dimension specified for each trim size.
We automatically trim 0.05" or 0.0625" off of each edge, which will result in the desired trim size. Simply add 0.125" to the overall dimension of your digital layout. Example: a 5" x 7" would have a bleed size of 5.125" x 7.125" and a 8.5"x11" flyer would have a bleed size of 8.625"x11.125". We have templates available to assist you with your file set-up. |

FONTS: |

| |
a. Fonts must be embedded in PDF files. |
|
| |
b. Fonts must be outlined or converted to paths or curves in EPS files. |
|
| |
c. Some fonts have copyright restrictions and will not embed in PDF Files. |
|
| |
d. Quark Express: Fonts and images must be included with all files submitted. (Mac only) |

Sending Your Files |
|
| |
E-mail |
|
| |
Email you files to divineadv@bellsouth.net. If sending files via email, file size must not exceed 2MB. For larger files, use one of the other 2 methods available. Please include your company name or order id number in the subject line. |

FTP (Method 1) |
|
| |
Click on the link marked 'Client Upload' at the top of the screen and proceed with the onscreen instructions. Files can be up to 10MB each. |
|

FTP (Method 2) |
|
| |
You MUST have a FTP client to use this method. We recommend this method for all files larger than 10MB in size. Notify us if this is your selection and we will issue you a username and password to upload your files. The server information and login is for this option is: ftp.399printing.com (server) temp@399printing.com (user) CALL FOR PASSWORD. |
